windows will always be 5 years behind MAC..
Macs rock. They're fast, stable, easy to use, bugless and virus-free. But I don't seem to like the idea of having to pay to buy an OS ;)
Besides, a Mac OSX can only run off a Mac 'cos Apple said so and it would be illegal to run it on any other architecture). Most of the world runs an i686 (Intel 686 architecture) and it's too hard to change eveything now.
FreeBSD, OpenBSD and all other variations of BSD are free. Or better still, GNU/ Linux based OSes (all the software is from FSF/ GNU) like variations of RedHat and Debian.
I abhor windoze 'cos it isn't technically an "operating system", it crashes aproximately hundred times a minute and is expen$ive. Migrozoft devil makes you pay for everything. Once India becomes a developed nation (we're nearly there), you won't be allowed to use your pirated windoze box. Why live under constant fear of being raided?
I personally run a Fedora Core 4 desktop. It's a beautiful system. Since screenshots seem to be appealing, I'll post an archived one of my screen (also on my blog)
